The Breckenridge Golf Club practice range will open for business next Thursday or Friday May 13 or 14 depending on the weather forecast. Early season hours of operation for the range will be 10-6 daily. The golf course is on target for a Friday, May 21, opening.

The Clubhouse will be open daily for pass card sales and sign-up for club programs including Men's League, Women's League, Adult and Youth group lesson clinics and Play Golf in Five days lesson program. Tee times this year may be made online starting at 6am each day four days outside of play for all punch card holders. Phone lines for tee times will open up at 7 or 8 am depending on the time of year. Booking online will give you the best availability. Once you have created a profile at the tee time booking page, your profile is stored so that you do not have to enter the information again. You can track your tee times and make cancellations form the site as well. To promote online booking we will be conducting a prize drawing at the end of the season for the top 10 golfers who book online. Prizes to be awarded include golf outings, and Titleist Pro V golf balls. We will also be conducting a similar drawing for the top ten rounds played. So book online and play often. First Assistant Golf Professional Robbins Manley will be playing 100 holes of golf in one day as part of a state fundraiser being organized by the Colorado PGA to support the March of Dimes. Robbins will play his golf holes May 20. This summer we will be initiating a new volunteer program. We have started our recruitment for our new "First Tee Host" volunteer position. This position will be a meet, greet, inform and smile type of position. We are recruiting volunteers that have great public relations skills, like to be outside in a variety of weather, and can commit to a season of mid-June through early September. Days of the week we will utilize this new customer relations person will be on Fridays and Saturdays. Hours volunteered on a given day will be about 6-7. This is your opportunity to interact with a variety of persons, and earn golf credits based on the number of hours volunteered.
