Fudge, Apple Pie and Egg Nog. What would the Holidays be without overindulging in sugary treats? This fun run is your chance to burn some calories and enjoy the beautiful scenery at the Breckenridge Gold Run Nordic Center! The first 75 registrants will receive a pair of arm sleeves from Skye Hide. Prizes will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place male and female. This race will be on groomed nordic trails; participants may use snowshoes, yaktrax or just tennis shoes to race. Snowshoe rentals will be available at the nordic center. Pre-registration ends at noon on December 31st. Day-of race registration will begin at 10am at the Gold Run Nordic Center on January 1st. Children 10 & under can race for free but they will not receive race 'goodies.' Children racing for free must register at the Breckenridge Recreation Center or at the Gold Run Nordic Center on the day of the race. The Breckenridge Gold Run Nordic Center is located at 200 Clubhouse Drive, just off of Tiger Road. All participants must complete a sports waiver before the event begins.
