				Greetings from the Breckenridge Golf Club Staff - 

We would like to remind you that our days are starting much later due to frost conditions. We are currently starting our first tee time at 9:00a.m. This will change as we get into further into September.  Remember,  your punch cards expire at the end of the season, plan accordingly. The last day of the season is tentatively scheduled for October 3.

Starting September 1, if you have a Resident pass card or 5-Play card, your Bring A Friend punches will once again be valid.

This Friday, Sept. 3 is the last Nine and Wine of the season. Tee times begin at 3:30. You may book tee times starting Monday, August 30.

Starting Tuesday, September 7, the pro shop will open for phone calls and/or walk in traffic at 9am. Also starting on the 7th, the driving range will be closing at 6pm each evening, 5pm on Sundays.

There is one Mixed Couple&apos;s event left, Sunday, September 12, with tee times starting at 2:10pm. You may sign-up starting Sept. 5. 

The golf course will be host to a few tournaments in September. Tee times will be limited on the following days:

    * Thursday, September 9 - 9-hole tee times only,

    * Monday, Sept 20 -  9-hole tee times late in the day

    * Starting Sept. 13 on Mondays and Tuesdays, we will only have 18 holes available as maintenance projects begin.

Many retail items will be going on sale throughout the month of September. Shop early for the best selection.

Come on out and enjoy the changing of the season as fall colors begin to show.

				Parent Child

Our final Parent/Child event of the season will be held this Sunday, July 25 starting at 4:00 pm on the Bear nine. The competition will be a modified alternate shot format. There is a $10 entry fee in addition to punches or green fees. Book your tee time today at 453-9104

Club Champions

Congratulations to this year&apos;s Club Champions. For the Juniors ages 15-18, Dak Dice was the winner. In the Junior age&apos;s division of 13-14, Michael Magnuson won, and in the age division 10-12, Jake Willemson was the winner.

The Ladies Club Champion in the Gross division was Krista Morgan, her 14 victory. In the Net division Jan Marshall was the winner.

The Men&apos;s Club Champion was Sean Miller. In the Open division Tom Brideau won gross and Dick Bauder won net. In the Senior division Rick Bremer won gross and Hugh Povar won Net. 

Pure Grips

The Pure Grip company will be re-gripping clubs on Sunday, July 25 from approximately 8-2. Check out their line of tacky grips. They can do your entire set for $6/ club. New grips do make a difference!!

Greetings from the Breckenridge Golf Club! As we roll into the height of the summer season the Golf Club has a number of upcoming events for golfers of all ages and abilities. Be sure to check out these events and sign up soon.

Mixed Teams

Our second Mixed Team event of the season will be held on Sunday, June 27 featuring a best net ball of a mixed twosome starting at 4:00 pm on the Beaver nine. Tee times may be made starting Monday, June 21. Call today.

Juniors

On Monday, June 28th the Golf Club will host its second junior individual stroke play competition on the season. Open to junior resident pass-holders the event will begin at 4:00 pm on the bear nine with competition in various age groups. Advance sign up is required and may be made at the pro shop.

Nine and Wine

Our second Nine and Wine will be held on Friday, June 25 at 4 pm. Enjoy the opportunity to play 9-holes while sampling and learning about select wines, about every three holes. Green fees are $30 or you may use your resident pass. There is a wine tasting fee. Tee times may be made 4 days in advance. This event fills very quickly, so either book on line starting at 6 am June 21 or call the pro shop starting at 7 am. Call today.

Junior Group Lessons

The second series of junior group lessons of the summer will begin Tuesday, June 29. Pee-wee golfer&apos;s ages 5-8 will go from 3:00-3:30 with junior golfers ages 9-13 from 3:30-4:30. Lessons are conducted on Tuesdays and Thursdays with the program consisting of 5 lessons. Equipment will be provided if needed. Advance reservations are required and may be made by calling the pro shop at 453-9104
