"Great spacious home - great location"
My sister and I stayed at Winwood for the week of July 4th with our families - 4 adults and 5 kids. We had more than enough room to play and relax. The house was immaculately clean and well-maintained. We cooked almost every night - the kitchen is huge and well-equipped with plenty of dishes, top of the line appliances and utensils (bring or buy your spices/basics - that's the only thing they didn't have).
We've stayed at many other Breck houses, and this one has been our favorite.
Not much of a backyard or deckview, but hot tub is fantastic! Tvs and aV equipment (wii too) were a nice plus, nice bathrooms and laundry room too.
Location is perfect and the neighborhood is lovely.

No complaints what so ever about the actual house. Well maintained, super clean, excellent appliances, heated garage, great flat screen TV's, great furniture. Also loved the cappachino maker! 4-6 person hot tub is fantastic too. Guy comes by to check it daily and make sure it's perfect.
Wish house was a little closer to the lift, bus, and town though. There is a NEW property manager now but OLD manager advertised place as ski in/out and a 200 yard walk to town.
You have about a 150 yard walk to the bus, mile to town, and I'm guessing 200 yard walk through the woods to the gondola. Another option is to drop skiiers off up at peak 8. And you can always call in the private shuttle (although you will need to tip).
I usually walked to the gondola and then rode the bus back to the Nortic Center. Once you get to Windwood Circle you can click in and ski (pole) to the house.
First time I've rented a house so I was thinking ski in/out of my back door. There are not many , if any, places out there that are ski in/out back door like I was hoping for.
I would recommend Windwood and stay there again in a heart beat. I'm missing it already!
"Everything was great"
House was large and well maintained. Great location, and easy to find. Jacuzzi, internet, TV's, DVD players, and everything in the kitchen all worked well.

Service was excellent, Home was great, though when we arrive the handle on the sliding doors to back deck with Grill and Hot tub was busted once notified they sent someone over and fixed it. House had everything we need, location was great. Best thing we liked was the snow light and dry. Worst was the altitude hitting you with lack of sleep for the first few nights, by the time you feel OK its time to leave, though once on the mountain you do not feel any altitude issues unless hiking the ridge on the bowls. We can't wait to get back, the town and all the people we met were very nice and accomodating. Highly recommended!
"Luxurious Ski Condo"
Luxurious and spacious ski condo. Wonderfully appointed with large open plan living, dining, kitchen area. Easy access to Peak 8 via ski bus shuttle.
"Beautiful/comfortable home"
Our stay at Windwood 106 was all I hoped it would be. The picture on the web site did not do it justice. It was very spacious and beautiful inside and out (including the neighborhood). There were 10 of us staying for a ski trip. The kitchen was huge, master bed/bath also huge and the other bedrooms and living areas offered plenty of room. In the evening we grilled on the patio and soaked in a delightful hot tub. We were minutes from peak 8, the City Market, and downtown Breckinridge. We definitely plan on booking our next ski trip at Windwood 106. We have stayed at several other locations in Breckingridge over the past 15 years, and this is my favorite.
If I were to mention one inconvenience it was that we could have used more towels.

It was a very special occasion for us
because our far-flung family gathered
there for a Christmas reunion - three were
from London and four from Toronto - and we
hadn't seen each other for some time. The
house served us all extremely well, being
modern, very well-appointed with all
modcons, as well as being in a great
location on the way up to the ski fields.
