"A weekend to remember"
We stayed at Crown Chalet over Labor Day weekend 2009 for three nights. We were able to get the house at a very reasonable rate. We had three families which included 6 adults and 5 kids ages 7 and under. We all fit very comfortably in the home. The kids all stayed in the bunk room up stairs and just loved it. One couple slept on the pull out couch downstairs which was comfortable. The house had all the amenities we wanted (fully stocked kitchen, large deck(s), pretty views, convenient to downtown Breck). The backyard fire pit with log benches was a huge bonus. We roasted marshmellows by the fire one night and it was a big hit with the kids. We didn't use the hot tub but we were happy to have the option. It looked very tempting. The bathrooms are clean and spacious. The kitchen / living / dining area was very cozy and spacious as well. There's a good chance we'll be visiting Crown Chalet again.

If you are looking for a quaint mountain home surrounded by nature and still just outside of town, look no further than The Crown Chalet! It is a quick 2 minute drive to the slopes, restaurants, shops and all the HOT SPOTS Breckenridge has to offer, but still peaceful enough to help you escape all of your worries and stresses of home. Let us help you remember exactly why you booked a Rocky Mountain Vacation in the first place!
Driving up the driveway, you'll swear you are approaching a rustic Swiss Alps home, but once inside, you will feel as if you have stepped into a newly renovated vacation home! This main entry is the lowest level and contains a bedroom with a Queen sized Aspen bed and a spacious bathroom with a stand up shower. This level also contains the Laundry area. You will also find a new cozy Queen sleeper sofa in the lower level living room right next to a crackling wood burning fireplace. You can also relax and enjoy the new flat screen tv!
Heading upstairs, you will find the main living area with Living room, Kitchen, Dining room, and the second full bathroom. The living room is furnished with a brand new velvety soft 'L' shaped sofa for you to warm up by the fire. You will also find the fully stocked kitchen with anything you need to feed a small army! If there is not enough room for everyone at the dining table by the fireplace, you can split up and sit at the breakfast bar in the kitchen as well! There is a spacious full size remodeled bathroom with his and hers vanities and a bathtub/ shower combination as well. This level has a wrap around balcony that holds the private Hot Tub and gas grill, not to mantion the amazing view of all those tall pines!
Heading to the top level, you will find two more bedrooms. The first is furnished with a regular Twin/Twin Bunk bed as well as a Captain's Bunk bed which has an oversize Double bed with a Twin bed on top. Across the hall, you will find the third and final bedroom with a stately twisted pine Queen sized bed and a sofa chair. Take a step outside in the morning for some fresh air on your private balcony, or just keep the curtains open to watch the snow fall from the comfort of your cozy bed!
With all of the fun you can have right in your rustic mountain retreat, you might even forget about all of the things the Town of Breckenridge has to offer, such as great skiing or snowboarding, lessons for those who don't know how, your pick of many great restaurants and shopping galore!
